Tom Kosnik is a cofounder of http://gearupventures.com/ and coauthor of Ramfelt, Kjellberg and Kosnik (2014) Gear Up: Test Your Business Model Potential and Plan your Path to Success, John Wiley and Sons. Gear Up is an interactive book, workshop, digital toolkit, and community of Gear Up Global Black Belts to help executive teams, and new product development teams create new markets or disrupting existing markets.
Since 1990, Tom has been a Lecturer at Stanford Engineering, Department of Management Science and Engineering. He is also a consulting faculty member for National University of Singapore Overseas Colleges Program in Silicon Valley and the NUS Entrepreneurship Centre. His current Stanford courses include Global Entrepreneurial Marketing, Technology Entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders Program. He also teaches New Venture Creation for National University of Singapore. He taught Marketing at Harvard Business School from 1985-89, and launched HBS’s Entrepreneurial Marketing course in 1995-97.
